Red FM

Red FM India’s fastest growing radio station is owned by a consortium of Arjun Rao & Sun TV Group with minority interest by Astro, Malaysia & NDTV. Launched in 2002, RED FM first started round the clock operations in Mumbai, followed by Delhi and & Kolkata in 2003.

One of the first stations to go on-air during the first phase of privatization of FM radio business, RED FM began with the positioning of ‘Asli Masti’. In 2005, Red FM was relaunched with a brand new philosophy and attitude of “Bajaate Raho!” along with a music strategy of playing only Super Hit music, based on the internationally successful CHR (Contemporary Hit Radio) format.

 

Big FM

Big FM is a nationwide private FM radio station in India. Currently, it covers 44 cities. This is the only private FM radio station which is being broadcast from Srinagar and Jammu in Jammu & Kashmir state. It has made an announcement to invest Rs. 400 crore dedicated to transmission equipment, infrastructure and licensing; which would make the proposed network the largest ever.

From July 1 2008, Big FM started broadcasts to Singapore, the first city outside India to become part of the Big FM network. In Singapore, it is operational from 5 PM to 8PM daily on FM 96.3 ‘ The International Channel’ under the name of ‘BIG Bollywood 96.3FM’.
